Women in Mission

We are a congregation made of many people from many backgrounds. Women in Mission is a group seeking to bring together women of faith and encourage them through discipleship. It is a multi-generational female group striving to promote the discipleship of women and to reach out with the love of Christ. They are dedicated to building one another up in the Gospel and being active at Lamb of God and in their local community.

A few of their services and activities:

Tannenbaum Express – A service delivering handmade Christmas trees to home-bound persons or people unable to buy a Christmas tree on their own.

Health Kits – Collecting personal hygene items for personal health kits that are then delivered to the local King County Department of Social and Health Services.

Quilters – A service creating warm and cozy quilts for the less fortunate. Over 80 quilts are made each year that are sent overseas through Lutheran World Relief or given to local men’s and women’s shelters. Any funds used from quilt sales are also given to these organizations.

School Kits – Collecting back to school items and homemade backpacks that are dispersed around the world through Lutheran World Relief.
